This notice explains how Clove Hitch Labs handles information when you use the Fetch Weather website, progressive web app or Android application. It covers account information, saved locations, support messages, advertising choices and technical data needed to operate the service. We collect personal information that you choose to provide when you create an account, save preferences, subscribe to Pro, submit a support message or otherwise contact us. You can browse the public forecast without creating an account.

• Saved locations, preferences and alert settings
• Emails and support messages you send us, and the contact details included with them
• Purchase history, including subscription or purchase status supplied by the relevant payment provider (such as Google Play Billing)

Information Automatically Collected

We may receive technical information when you visit or use the service, such as browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, referring URL, approximate location (derived from your IP address or network) and information about how the service is used. Precise device location is only used when you grant permission for location-based features; it is used in real time to provide local weather and is not stored for longer than necessary to service your request. This may also include:

• App interactions, such as the pages and features you use and taps or actions you take
• In-app search history, such as the locations and queries you search for
• Device or other IDs, such as device identifiers and advertising identifiers
• Crash logs, diagnostics and other app performance data

• Precise location: collected through device location permissions; used for location-based weather features inside the App.
• App interactions and in-app search history: collected through automatic usage logs; used to understand feature usage and improve the App.
• Device or other IDs: collected automatically, including device and advertising identifiers; used for analytics, advertising and account security.
• Crash logs, diagnostics and app performance data: collected through automatic crash and performance reporting; used for app security, diagnostics and performance optimisation.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our App, including:

• To deliver services: To facilitate user onboarding, account creation, and service delivery.

No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than two (2) years after an account becomes inactive.

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures. Your database, authentication systems, and file storage leverage enterprise-grade security protocols, including end-to-end transit encryption and restricted-access protocols. However, please remember that no electronic transmission over the internet can be 100% secure.

7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 8a. Advertising, Cookies & Google AdSense

Free users of the App may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. Both we and third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Personalised vs Non-Personalised Ads

When you consent, Google may use cookies to personalise the ads you see. If you reject or opt out, ads may still be shown but will not be personalised based on your interests. Consent for personalised advertising in the UK, EEA and Switzerland is collected through Google's certified Privacy & messaging consent management platform; you can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link shown in that message. Pro subscribers do not see advertisements and are not served AdSense cookies.
